OT(?): Raleigh/Triangle Alumni Club Hurricanes vs Red Wings Event

Not sure if this is allowed so moms feel free to delete.
I am part of the alumni board in the triangle area here in the Raleigh/Triangle area and help to secure a block of tickets for the game with the Hurricanes vs Red Wings on April 11th.
I know I've seen some other posters on here that live in or near the area and wanted to let you all know of the event if you haven't seen it yet! We have about 60 tickets in the lower bowl behind the Hurricanes home side (they shoot twice at net). You get a discount if you are an alumni association member and proceeds go to the Triangle area's scholarship fund! Max of 4 tickets per person

Yes, I plan to go. Not sure if the Wings will be in playoff contention by that point (probably not) but still should be a fun event.
I am moving to Raleigh this summer, would be great to connect with the local club. I looked online but could not find a alumni club website like in the Bay Area.

Last time I tried to go to a Wings-Canes game I flew out of DTW and met Ken Holland at the gate since he happened to be taking the same flight. Upon getting to the rink, the ice wouldn't freeze and they canceled the game.

No, unfortunately there was no cheap way to have a gathering area and being a Tuesday game, limits the ability to tailgate.
Maybe a change for next year though
I usually go when the Wings come to town but not typically in March or April.....because the Wings are so far out of the playoffs by then. That might not be the case this year. I'm a strong "probably" and will try to get tickets later this week.
