OT: NFL Watching and Discussion Thread

Submitted by Eli on December 21st, 2019 at 1:16 PM

Anyone else watching the games today? I love the Saturday NFL games this time of year. Right Now Houston already up 10-0 on Tampa. Winston with 2 picks including a pick 6 on his first pass. I might have to play some Tecmo Super Bowl if this one gets out of hand. NE and Buffalo on next and then San Fran vs. the Rams. I know there is bowl games on today and I might check out Washington later, but NFL is more interesting than most bowl games. Other than rooting for Michigan, Iowa St, whoever plays msu and Clemson, I probably won't watch many bowl games.

Full slate of bowl games, FCS playoffs and CBB today - why have Saturday NFL right now?  No major networks are going to show it.

College football >>> NFL

that being said I’m interested to see what the Rams (Goff in particular) can do with 49ers.  First time they played the Rams got slaughtered and Goff had a 0.9 QBR

I agreed with the sentiment for most of my life but I have a son that has become a hardcore NFL fan (not into college though I tried) so I am paying more attention to the League as something to bond together with. And I feel like my NFL team has a chance at the crown, where as with Michigan football I'm coming to realize we climbed the mountain in 97 and we will never go back again.

So I'm becoming NFL > NCAA. Go Niners!

U-verse not carrying the NFL Network anymore saved $75 a month for me. Called them up and threatened to cancel because of this (saw the opportunity; I don’t care at all to have this channel) and they offered me a huge cut to keep their service.
