OT Need help with NCAA tix info for our game

Submitted by myrtlebeachmai… on

I'm strongly considering going up to Charlotte (about 4 hours from Myrtle Beach) for our game.  I know the day is split into 2 sessions, 2 games each.  Session 1 is our game, and Duke's game.  After a 3 hr break and a clearing of the arena, the UNC chunk of the West bracket has 2 games later that night.  Tix are sold for each session.

As far as just Session 1 (ours), does anyone (who's been to the NCAAs before) know if it's all one tix/wristband?  I was hoping to find a Dukie not planning on attending our game and buy their early game tix, if that's even possible?  I've found Session 1 passes for $70-90, so worst case, not that bad for 2 games.  I just don't have an interest in seeing Duke blow out some nobody.

Thanks in advance.

I have been to every round, including the final four and championship game.  Tickets are sold by session:  a session 1 ticket is good for admittance to both the M and duke games.  You would not be able to buy a duke fan's ticket and have both of you see your games.

My best advice is to call the hampton athletic ticket office and see if they have extras.  This will allow you to at least have a ticket for M's game vs. the Vols without paying the high price they will be selling for on the secondary market.  the smaller schools rarely sell out their allotment and often have a public sale.
