OT: Make-A-Wish grants wish to announce Ravens' first pick
Doesn't the team get to decide who announces thier picks? Or is that only in the later rounds? I'm hesitant to give the NFL credit, just yet. Seems like something the team would do, rather than the NFL.
Goodell announces all the first rounders, typically.
He always announces the 1st round, gives the players a huge bear hug which is always a cool sight. Players then go on to play in the NFL while slowing building a hatred toward Goodell that grows and grows each year. That is the life-cycle of the 1st Rd draftee.
that puts some pressure on them if there were an offer to trade out of the first round lol.
It would be awesome if the kid says this, "Roger, you're a dick, Tom Brady bababooey!" Then drops the mic and walks off the stage.

"With the 16th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select... Jabrill Peppers, linebacker, safety, defensive back, running back, return specialist, from the University of Michigan."
