I am enjoying watching him. Watching Michigan b-ball - I try to keep an eye on everybody. Watching Poole in the G league shows a guy with great offensive instincts but very poor defensive instincts. His decision-making with and without the ball impresses me a lot more than I would have anticipated at this stage; especially given what we often saw at Michigan. However, on the defensive end, it looks like he not only lacks good instincts, but he also appears to lack appropriate effort. I bet that will change for him, and I will be cheering for him.
Bad defense? Should fit right in the NBA!

With his "cat-quick" reflexes, I could see Poole scratching and clawing his way to a spot on the Warriors roster.
Even then, it seems he would more likely be a howling success had he gone into the Heat organization.

I caught 5 minutes of a summer league game yesterday and saw Dakota Mathias and Amir Coffey. It was like a Big10 All-Star game, minus the stars.
Couldn't see it live but had a pretty good line with 21 points on 7-16 overall, 2-6 3 pointers, 5-6 FT, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 rebounds. Did have 4 TO's. But his shooting is looking much better after his last rough outing.
