It was good to see him win the Cup this year. He had the bad luck of being traded away from a team right before they won the Cup, in the 2012 LA Kings, so it was good to see him win one as an older guy on a young, fun team like the Avs. Honestly I thought he had retired since it feels like he's been around forever but he's actually only 35 and could have at least a few more years in the tank.

It was great seeing another banner raised and loved the Avs invited JJ to join them on the ice. He actually also made it to their ring ceremony two days earlier
