OT: Cowherd Leaving ESPN for FoxSports (Apparently)
http://thebiglead.com/2015/07/16/colin-cowherd-leaving-espn-whats-next/
Colin Cowherd, a prominent national voice on ESPN radio since 2003, is leaving the network, multiple industry sources tell The Big Lead. While no destination is finalized, talks are progressing towards a deal with Fox Sports. The move away from the Mothership does not come as much of a surprise for anyone who follows these things closely, or has been listening to Cowherd’s show for the past few months.
But, the timing will leave a gaping hole in ESPN Radio’s weekday lineup and has broader implications about where some things are going both in Bristol — few will forget the great talent exodus of 2015 at ESPN, which has seen the network lose other outspoken voices in Bill Simmons and Keith Olbermann — and in general sports media. The difference here was that ESPN did make an aggressive bid to keep Cowherd, but was upstaged by Fox, who are clearly looking to make a big splash.
I hope Bomani Jones or Dan LeBatard (or both!?) replace his time slot.
NBC aires a program called "Sunday Night Football." Perhaps you've heard of it. It's the highest rated weekly program on television.
Hopefully, whoever fills his spot can tell me whether or not Lebron is better than MJ. I could also use some more NY Knick upates.

Great! He can now join Jim Rome as another person who's voice i never have to hear again.
Only part that sucks is BTN is owned by Fox/B1G could end up seeing him on BTN...then again Cowherd vs Harbaugh Round 2....Has possibilities
do interviews with Cowherd if Fox/BTN tells Cowherd to try to interview him?
Can Michigan just tell Cowherd to fuck off?
One of the biggest douchebags is going to Fox?
Rumor on the internet is that the ESPN/Cowherd negotiations were going okay until ESPN was trying to talk to him about a how it was "a good time so say 'buy' " on his radio show. Cowherd got confused and asked them why they "thought it was a good time to say bye." After that it all started going downhill.
“In the next 5-10 years, I don’t even think they’ll have radios in cars. I think podcast and digital and Sirius is the future. I think terrestrial — AM especially — is done in five years.” - Colin Cowherd
Then it is simple. Colin Cowherd must be put on any available AM property that Fox still happend to own as soon as he arrives.
Harbaugh'd.
have anything to do with ESPN's award to Caitlin Jenner?
Serious question
Good riddance. I avoid his show unless I like the guest, but I dislike him. It seems like he frequently invents controversy with a simple formula:
1. Pick a topic (often non-controversial) that is clearly one-dimensional with one correct side
2. Pretend that there are people that are arguing the other way, but don't name them.
3. Make your argument
4. Have callers call into to agree with you
I once heard him making fun of the Dallas cowboys cheerleaders, who have to take a test on the Cowboys history in order to be hired. He then asked to be given the test on the air, which he failed miserably. He made sily excuses and still continued to make comments disparaging the cheerleader intellect.H
He also admits he prefers to be thought of as entertainment first and he roots for controversy so he can use it for material.
His act is old.
sure looks like ESPN is a big ole bubble ready to burst....

The only gaping hole ESPN had to worry about was the bullshit volcano in the middle of his face. I cant change the channel fast enough when I see Colin Fucktards douchey mug on it. I must be living in bizzaro world where major sports networks get into bidding wars for that ass-clowns "services." This makes me sad.
Listened to this guy twice and the second time only because of the JH interview.
I can't believe JH actually went on this guy's show to begin with!
