Interesting content here about Jabrill's relationship to Belichick. Some of the Pats got too physical at practice, so Belichick stepped in and stopped it. Jabrill sounds like he's doing well.

Jabrill's a well-spoken young man and a fine representative for the rest of us alumni.  I particularly like his use of the word "behooves", as in "it behooves us to listen to Belichick".

I still miss him fielding  punts for us...

On Saturday, he chased down Mac Jones after the quarterback finished a series of reps to provide some feedback, "only kick one testicle Mac, it hurts way worse that way."

Man I miss him here in Cleveland.  I ran out and bough a JP 22 Browns jersey (first jersey I ever wore to a game) just to annoy the legions of OSU fans who are intellectually incapable of separating where somebody went to college once they turn pro.

Then Gregg fucking Williams decided the best place to put this hit machine is 30 yards off the line of scrimmage where he can do absolutely nothing to impact a play.  Jesus that was beyond frustrating.

While it was tragicomic that Gregg Williams had Jabrill playing out in Ashtabula, IIRC the Browns' roster that year was so abjectly barren that he was the only person remotely qualified to play free safety to prevent every play from being a 80 yard TD, so it was the least bad of some really terrible options. I thought Jabrill showed some great promise in his 2nd season, but was regrettably traded for OBJ, which... yeah, Browns gonna Browns.
