OT: The 24 Hour War
"Ford vs Ferrari" has gotten a great deal of publicity, but if you want a fact-based documentary free of Hollywood exaggeration (and the ridiculous choice of Matt Damon to play Carroll Shelby), the excellent 2016 documentary "The 24 Hour War" is fantastic. I watched it on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, but I think it's also available on Prime.

Check out Henry Payne's take:
He identifies quite a bit of Hollywood's liberties with the truth.

To be fair, he may have a different interpretation of what is considered parts of Russia than the rest of us.

Ford vs Ferrari today oh, and I took your advice and watch the 24 hour war on Netflix. I found the Ford vs Ferrari to be too much Hollywood with so many exaggerations, and it was refreshing to watch the 24 hour War to get the honest facts. Thanks for bringing this up.

I'm pretty sure that this is produced by Adam Carolla. I thought the Damon/Bale movie was very entertaining, fwiw.
