Update 2: The uniforms are fake. What was originally a promising set of photos from an OSU journalism student turned out to be a ruse. We apologize for suggesting they were possibly the uniforms.

A ruse? Hi, it's 1930s, can have our words, and clothes, and s**tty plane back? Call you back, 1930s. And, hey, watch out for that Adolf Hitler. He's a bad egg.

Get all the shiny shit you want, Michigan will still win the game. Just like they did the last time they played shiny helmets on 10/20.

That stripe on the helmet is a little too much, I think, but those actually aren't all that bad. Otherwise, these were also on SBNation and the helmets were confirmed on an OSU gear site since they were portrayed on one of the shirts there almost a week ago - I think there was even a thread with some of the leaked teaser shots here.

I wondered about the fake ones in the initial article, thinking to myself why Ohio State would go with a chrome helmet that had the same pattern as an aluminum bench...but if they would like us to sit on them and if they would like to serve as a living reminder of a place where people do put their rear end from time to time, I would still have no objection.

If I remember correctly, someone "leaked" those pictures back in September, and like an hour later it was deemed to be faked.

This is the real uniform being modeled by ex-Buckeye RB, Raymont Harris:

I'm pretty impartial to the whole Pro-Combat trend and usually lean towards the "keeping The Game pure" side of the issue, but I actually don't mind these.
