Official Spring Game Tailgate/Fiasco Planning Thread
woooo tailgate!!

Tail gate with some empanadas, pasteles, pernil.......Bacardi?
Pasteles?! Fuck that shit! PABST BLUE RIBBON!
And gimme some pasties.
I know that they are doing the locker room tours from 8 AM to 10 AM, and at 10 the alumni flag football game starts, and after that is the actual spring game. Not sure how long people want to tailgate for. Me and some friends will be driving from a decent distance so I'm not sure how much help we could be. I'm always up for bringing beer though.
I was planning on skipping the tours and flag football game to fit in more tailgating

This has the alumni flag football roster and a description of activities. A must for any planning session.
Does anyone care if I show up with an 11 month old (assuming it's not a blizzard)? Does anyone have an opinion? I'm just not sure how babies mix with Zima, unicorns, ridiculous arguments and so forth.
As long as that baby is indoctrinated in the ideals of the revolution, you should be fine.
Football and babies don't mix.
If I get selected for that kicking contest I am going FUCK SHIT UP.
Also, pick me for holding the banner. That would be awesome.
to give your baby a shot, if it is teething
I know
I am all about cooking. Not sure what appropriate fare would be but I'd take suggestions for things that can survive a bit of a drive.
As far as the timing: I'm not getting up earlier than 8AM for the spring game. If people want to check out the alumni game they can go do that. The locker room tours might be cool but I'll skip 'em. They really need to move the game back to like 3 if they're going to have cool stuff beforehand.
Considering that he will be present at the event, any chance Yards After Mundy will be an official stat at the Alumni Game?
Im up for tailgating for a bit...but i plan on doing the tour and everything since this is my first time out for the Spring game.
I'm willing to bring whatever supplies are needed.
Food and/or drink.
If anyone has a beverage of choice or any requests, just say so and I will toss it into the cooler.
I figure, like a noon game in the fall, I'd like to leave Toledo between 8:30-9....and since I wont be fretting over what games I need to bet before leaving, I might actually get out of town on time for once.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
...Ahhh, beer?
Will be there with the Missus. But I am willing to bring something if necessary. Just let me know. She is a great cook.
Will be at game, not sure if I'll be in town in time for tailgating.
But any specific thoughts yet on: Location, rough time? Would like to make it if I'm able.
See Brian's front page post, it's probably pushed back a page by now though.
So much for the organization of said event. So far we dont know what time to meet, who is bringing what and if there is even going to be more than 3 people going. Its all good :)
Well, I've got a bunch of people coming and we're tailgating at Pioneer. I dunno, anyone gonna be over that way? Just gonna have brats and burgers. Anyone? Bueller?
The official site says: "Fans will exit the locker room at the top of the tunnel where the ‘Go Blue' sign resides." Any idea if this mean hooligan fans can run down the tunnel into the stadium?

I'm going to shamelessly bump this thread for a recap of pertinent info so far:
Meet around 9 (I'll be there a little earlier) near the bus stop outside Crisler in the main stadium lot.
Bring what you want to eat. I'll try to provide a grill, (maybe) some burgers, and (probably) some beer. This will require I acquire a cooler, but whatever.
If people want to RSVP in this thread, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to it.
When you guys are done planning this tailgate, can you head down to DC and straighten out this mess we're in?
I'm tentatively down. I'll aim to speak more sentences over the course of the even than posts which I have on this forum.
