Offense Vs ND UFR, The Touchdown Run, O/U + What
Alright, we're all waiting breathlessly for Brian's offense UFR from the ND game. I mean, Tim posted like almost an hour ago, why come he hasnt been posted over yet!?!?!
I kid, I kid Brian, because I care.
But, in the D UFR there was discussion on the neg that Cam got on the Rupdolph play and how it compared to the largest single player neg anyone has recieved. It was.
But, lets talk something postive. That amazing 87-yard TD run by Denard. I think cumulatively, it might set the single play record for total plusses in an UFR.
Dorrenstrein, Koger will get at least a plus. Omameh and Roundtree will gets points for sure. Denard? Denard! I have been waiting all week to see the point assignment on this play. I think combined we might even hit +10
So, Over/Under +9.5 for that play.....discuss........i read these every week, but I know there are more diehard UFR-heads out there. Do we need to set this number higher or what?

Great blocking all around + Dilithium.... I'm going with 11

Omameh alone deserves at least a +5 for taking out two ND defenders, one of whom was Teo. Man everything about that play was totally awesome.

LIKE A 5 STAR!!

Pancake block 10 yards downfield on a 5 star LB, taking out the WLB in the process (+6)

Set the LOS as 0.1, and add a tenth of a point for each yard downfiedl. The rationale for this is that the farther from the LOS the block happens, the less it has the potential to still aid the D by clogging running lanes. Multiply this number by the star-rating of the blocked player. Add two for a pancake (+ 1 for demoralization, +1 for inability to re-engage in the play). If the pancaked player takes out another player, perfrom the same operation to ascertain the value of that block. Add these values together, and you have the value of the block.
So, off the top of my head, plus something like 47.2 for big Pat on that block.

Is one of the best blocks in the history of UFR. I, too, look forward to seeing how it's graded.
Koger, Roundtree, plus Omameh's super block should put the play close to 10... but not sure it'll be over. I'll take the under at 9.

Even if you think no individual blog is worth more than +3, I think Omaneh will get +3, Roundtree +2, Molk +1, Dorenstein +1, Koger +1 and Robinson +2 or more (probably more). I don't know if Odoms will get a +, but I wouldn't be surprised.
I kinda think +10 is the minimum.

is worth more than +3

Seemed more execution vs. call. That is, ND had guys in position - they just got Omameh'd or Koger'd or Denard'd.

Yeah, I thought O/U +9.5 might be too low
Sounds like it's going to exceed that. Man, what a great play.
Will there be a +RPS as well? I mean, it's like one our basic plays, right?

about Odoms basically blocking Darrin Walls out of bounds.

RR should get a +1 for hurdling Odoms' attempted OB cut block as he raced down the sideline -- although this might get cancelled out by a -1 on Odoms for missing the block . . .

Over, just barely though. I need me some UFR to make it through the day. Is there a Michigan Football Anon?
