Now that Tate's ineligible...

Now that Tate is ineligible to play in the bowl, who is our backup QB? Would it be Gardner, even though he's trying to get a medical red shirt? Who else do we have at QB?

first of all, you're a complete fuc*ing fag*ot dark blue.  i'd wish that something terrible would happen to you...but i'm sure it already has...again...and again.

second of all, rumor was that jeremy gallon was getting a lot of qb time in bowl practices.  never really heard why.  maybe rr knew tate was on the border.

Honestly, were you unaware of the fact that this is already being discussed in an existing thread? If you want to start a new thread, make it about something orginal... maybe a prospective coaching change rumor that is unsubstantiated?

I'm going to go ahead and endorse your ascension to the content-creation threshold.  Of course, said endorsement means absolutely nothing and has no value for you.

But, when you get there, please don't create content without content.

Based on what I've seen so far, this is not a worry.

Well thanks for the support, even if it is purely symbolic. Even though I've only recently started posting, I've been a long-time visitor to this site (before I even formally registered an account). I'm well aware of the ridiculous nature of a lot of the threads started recently and I can assure you that I won't be starting unsubstantiated or repetetive threads. I've had my fair share between this week's CC threads and this past summer's expansion speculation.

Unlike half the board, I'm only going to post this once.  There have been a lot of posts as of late that are duplicate in nature to other posts.  These posts are often full of twenty replies about how the original post was redundant - a classic case of irony.  Once someone points it out, LET IT GO.

Also, I think I've read someone calling for a 1000 point minimum to start a new thread about 1,000 times this season.

Jack Kennedy is still on the roster, and he always tears up our defense in the spring game.

I hope Denard makes it through the whole contest, but if not I'd rather see Kennedy get a few snaps than Gardner burn his redshirt.

For the record, I do not blame the OP for not wanting to sift through the cat fight the earlier post regressed into.

Not only is he simulating the MSU QB but because he can run the option would he be a viable option as a backup QB? I'd hate to see Gardner's RS get burned just to win a bowl game.

Gosh, bummer for Tate as it seems he had turned around in a very positive way - but this is jump a bump in the road in his life.  I recall reading that we have several Defensive backs who played QB in high school...Jeremy Gallon comes to mind, and I think we have a couple more.  Question is were there any flags put out about Tate's fate in time to give any of those guys a few snaps at QB during the 15 days of bowl practice?

Okay, while the reaction to this thread has been funny at points, you guys need to seriously calm down. Calling him a troll, telling people to kill you, etc. is a little out of line. Honestly, the guy posted a thread, and you guys go apeshit. Were you caused any bodily harm? Did anybody insult your mother? No, so stop acting like the guy is an axe murderer or something. He/she hardly wasted your time by posting it, and you wasted more of your own time by posting a mean and equally useless response.

The way people treat other members on this board is embarrassing. Some people simply want to come hear and discuss Michigan football, and you people have to jump in their throats, question their intelligence, etc.

Jeez.
