NIT to field a 16 team tourney in Dallas - Ft. Worth area

They could be hoping for big ratings with Dook, Kentucky and Staee

I do admire Syracuse for their consistency.  This marks the 7th straight year they are in that "last eight in/first eight out" discussion, on the bubble.

If they do get in, of course, they will then pull multiple upsets and then make it to the Elite Eight as a #10 seed.  It's their MO at this point.

That really sucks for those regular season mid major champions that lose in their tournament.   Most likely won’t get an invite with 16 teams and traditional blue bloods getting that don’t make the tourney taking their spot.

I want to watch the press conference where Izz tells the world how excited Staee is to play in a tournament with the tradition of the NIT

Rutgers may find themselves in this after getting pasted by Nebraska without their leading scorer who left the team. The NIT could have 4 or more Bigten teams in it.
