Night Games/Saturday Celebratory Drinking Thread
Surprised there isn't already a night game or drinking thread (checked the message board and didn't see one at least- neg away if I missed it). So I will start-
Oklahoma looks terrible and is getting stomped 28-3 at the moment. Of course this is the Big 12 and its only the second quarter, so they could still win 65-62.
Drinking Jasper Murdock IPA, a microbrew out of Vermont- good stuff.

me too. i am taking requests and playing tunes on the computer (we have some nice speakers) and kids are dancing and having a fine time celebrating. savoring the days, they don't happen that often and they go quickly.

Oklahoma's defense still sucks after all these years. Jalen Hurts is not as good a passer as Mayfield or Murray, and the offense isn't as lethal as in years past. How good is Baylor though? Who knows? I always assume that the top Big 12 team would gets crushed by the top teams in the Big Ten, the SEC, or...well, Clemson from the ACC.

The Big XII overall just isn’t very good. Baylor would get taken to the cleaners by LSU, OSU, Clemson, and probably Georgia too.
Big XII will be left out this year. They had to pin their hopes on Texas or Oklahoma. Texas is mediocre, Oklahoma is not as good as advertised, and Baylor would be an absolutely lousy draw for the CFP.

I think OU could get in at the #4, they could move 6 or 7 this week. I don't Georgia is that much better than them, if they lose to LSU, then the 4th slot would come to Oregon/Utah winner and OU. Not sure GA gets in with two losses, esp since one was to SC.

I think the game has passed Chip by like it did Rich Rod. They still want to employ that same run your qb into the ground attack that was decent 8-10 years ago but defense are too fast now.

Big 12 looks like a 7 on 7 camp. They drop back and pass with very little pressure and the wide receivers are pretty much always open.
