Night Games Thread (Conference Championships)

EDIT: my original post has nothing to do with the title of the thread, so feel free to discuss the games tonight as you please

I know I make too many threads...but I'd never have 1 per championship game.

I'd think we could just have 1 for the night games.

Then again, I think starting a non-Michigan game thread an hour before kickoff is silly as well.

The Michigan/OSU game thread was started like 10 minutes before kick, lol.

I could care less. This is a forum where the only person I've really known outside of here somewhat is WD. For some reason him and Discuss Man have a weird obsession with being totally negative about anything positive or negative I have to say regardless of what it is.

Just like you and everyone else I come here to discuss mostly Michigan, and sometimes my views of other games around the nation / sports talk.

My point was simply, at least make it a Night Games Thread.

The SEC thread is one thing...it's the only thing on. No problem at all.

But part of being in the MGoCommunity is being together (as a community).

So it would be stupid to have a B1G Championship thread, Pac 12 Championship Thread, ACC Championship Thread.

It seperates the group that are watching the games.

The SEC thread is fine, it's all that's on right now.

It's like starting the MSU/OSU thread...clearly that's what everyone is going to be watching. No harm, no foul.

I'm just bitching because there will be THREE big games on tonight and there's no need to break them up, IMO.

If the OP doesn't change the thread title, that's fine. I'll just start a night games thread and those that want to watch and talk about all three games can do so.

I especially like it because if someone is watching something that I'm not...I can flip over and see what's going on. It's actually useful, IMO.

Yup, he has some weird obsession of doing that with me.

If I post a game thread I usually post the channel, kick off time and stadium just because.

I only posted it so early because I wanted to discuss the city and atmosphere. People are still so testy and sore, maybe it would be better if we could have gone but we've come so far so I'm happy with the progress we've made.

Just realized we only need to be in the top 12 for New Years 6 game. Baylor will drop. UNC will presumably drop as well...will be interesting to see

Agreed, but I really think we can make it if these things happen. Texas beating Baylor helped A LOT. We need Clemson to win, convincingly. We also need USC to beat Stanford, ideally, but not necessarily, by a lot. That would mean the 11th spot comes down to us and NW. Hopefully they consider the head to head matchup. Plus, obviously the committee would prefer Michigan over NW.

And yes, I've been to Lucas Oil Stadium once---for the Michigan vs. Kentucky NCAA Tournament game 2 seasons ago.  CURSE YOU, Harrison Twins!!!   CURSE YOU, "Big Blue!!!  CURSE YOU, Calipari!!!

We wanted to go back for that game after the Big Ten Championship but just didn't make it down there.

It was pretty cool at Bankers Life though, I held UConn's National Championship
