I have debated buying it. I don't play many games anymore and when I do it's been my PS4 for about a year but I never bought 14 and have the hankering. Yet, I didn't buy it because I swore I never would because all football games from EA since last gen have been hot garbage on every level. I still rock PS2 when I want my football fix (lol)! That clunker turd engine they keep trying to mold into a good game has never done it for me.....but I've debated buying it all day at $4.99.

I don't like any Madden/NCAA from the last gen or current. The engine they moved to after PS2 gen is trash, IMO. Regardless, how is it worse than 13? I have 13 and it's the last I said I'd ever buy with that engine. Yet, I hear the off-season stuff is much better wrt edits, coaching changes and such. I'm a big simulation guy so I know I'd like that aspect. Does the actual play come off worse than 13 (which I found as dreadful as any last gen) or is it bad because it's the same? Thanks.

As far as the comparison in actual gameplay, it's been too long for me to remember what that was like.

My biggest complaint about 14 was the complete recruiting overhaul to make it more "streamlined". That totally ruined
the game for me. They replaced the calling system with a points system where you just assign points to a recruit, and that's it. No more selling your school's academic prestige or stadium atmosphere. No more comparing your A+ championship contender rating to Ohio State's. It really sucked, and since recruiting is my favorite part of the game, I quickly went back to 13.

We had a ten person Dynasty mode going on and the streamlined version really made that go faster.  Vastly prefer 14's recruiting because of this.

I still own 14 in physical form and our Dynasty finally died this year.  Was down to four people.  I just could not let my 6 time National Championship Western Kentucky Hilltoppers die.  I ruled the SEC with an Iron Fist.

We have sadly moved to Madden, but, I am getting used to the game now.  Still hate that my players get XP and I decide how they get better.  Rather it be at the end of year like NCAA.

to get back into the CFB game. I've already proposed the basic concept: 1) Build the skeleton of a CFB game from the animation to the physics to AI to everything. 2) Then build the most in depth editor on top of it and ship it in the game. Zero licensing. All generic teams, rosters and stadiums. However, you make EVERYTHING editable. Want Michigan? Change "Ann Arbor University" from the orange & black Tigers to Maize & Blue Wolverines. Helmet, unis and all. Edit a stadium to look vaguely like the Big House, edit rosters, change league from "Generic 3" to "Big Ten", etc. Trust the community to get the details right. Just give us the literal game skeleton and the tools.

None of the kids can play it in my house without my supervision.  They already ruined my Tropic Thunder DVD.  They ruin that and I'll have to choke a child.  I don't want to choke a child.
