MSU RB commit getting ND crystal balls

MSU running back commit Austrime is getting a run of crystal balls to ND , is this related to D. Edwards in any way?

Doubtful.....would be better to see Georgia getting a run of Crystal ballz for MSU running back if you are concerned about Donovan Edwards.

I am pessimistic about Edwards going Blue after this years blah running game coupled with the fact if he loved the team in his own backyard, I think he would have committed by now.

Why do people keep saying this? Lavert Hill committed to Michigan on February 3rd, Ambry Thomas committed to Michigan on December 7th, and DPJ committed to Michigan on December 15th. USC seems to fill half of its class each year with CA guys who basically default to the Trojans at the end of the cycle. And in this case in particular, Edwards has been open about taking his time. Let the kids decide on their own schedule.

Exactly. This is a once in a lifetime experience for these kids. Let them enjoy the process. Especially in a year without official visits, let the kids take their time and decide when they’re ready. Not committing by December doesn’t mean a damn thing. Really don’t know how that narrative got started.

These are good examples you raise but in a year where visits aren’t happening as normal, a player may want to commit early to bring other recruits or keep others verbals committed (for example, Worthy).
At the end of the day, each person will do what they want but OSU locks down the state pretty early. Occasionally, they will have some nail biters like Zach Harrison or flight risks like Jackson Carman but they mainly get who they want early.

So is the question here whether or not ND is out of the Edwards running because they are possibly going to poach an MSU back?  Because I always assumed it was Georgia with Edwards if he wasn't going to UM.  But honestly, I had to look up the guy's name because "Austrime" is definitely not a name for any player in 247.

Jim Harbaugh to the NFL. Matt Campbell announced as new UM head coach. JJ McCarthy and Donovan Edwards lead us to victory over OSU as freshman starters. Money rains from the sky in the big house. People become much smarter and kinder. Dogs and cats learn to breed yielding pupkittens. Wait, what are we talking about?

The 2020 version of this definitely reads.

Jim Harbaugh decides to go to the NFL after NSD in February leaving Michigan scrambling to get a replacement and have to let go of 50% of their letters of intent. Matt Campbell is announced as head coach. Michigan goes winless against OSU for the next 5 years. Matt Campbell is fired after failing to bring the program back to prominence. Jim Harbaugh is rehired. Kanye West wins the presidency.

For the recruiting experts, what is it about Edwards that makes him elite?

His high school film reminds me a lot of ZC and Ty Isaac - get the ball then run over the smaller, younger kid trying to tackle you.   I guess I don’t know what I’m looking at but there’s no pop to his game.

Audric Estime is a good back.  He will be productive for either MSU or ND.

Speaking of RBs recruited by other teams, Al-Shadee Salaam of Rutgers is pretty good too.  Rutgers always seem to have decent RB signees and decommits.

Here is the situation with Estime:

He has wanted the ND offer since the beginning.

ND hadn’t offered until today because they knew he would flip immediately and were waiting on Edwards.

Edwards hasn’t given any schools the indication on where he is going so ND couldn’t wait any longer because Estime wants to sign on Wednesday.

ND’s other RB commit, Logan Diggs, isn’t happy ND was going to sign a second RB and got an offer from LSU, his hometown team, and is talking to them.

ND decided to move on Estime to make sure to get a good RB in the class instead of taking the chance on Edwards.

Roughly a month ago some nd insiders were saying they really want this running back! So it doesn't have anything to do with Edwards! I thought we pretty much gave up on Edwards! Maybe that was just me thou!

I mean if Im Edwards and I look at track records Georgia probably place to go for running backs The Last 5 Years.  come to Michigan you might split carries between 4 other running backs
