Honestly, I get some kids just don't want to play football anymore.  I wouldn't blame them.  It probably has nothing to do with MSU's record as much as simply not wanting to put his body through years of football if he doesn't see it being his life.

The year round training and playing schedule is a major grind. It is hard to have even a semi-normal college experience. There is no doubt that some love the life of a division one revenue sport athlete (and others wish they had it), but the amount of time these players put in and the physical pain they have to manage makes it difficult unless they are really into that lifestyle. College football is my favorite sport to watch so I'm glad many players do make that sacrifice but I get that not everybody who could do it would want to.

has some serious issue in East Landfill. Not only have they seemingly regressed to the Sparty mean in recruiting and performance, but more surprising is the lack of respect in the locker room if all these racism allegations are true.

I was on a bunch of teams when younger in HS, basketball and football, and when you work that hard with a group of guys, and sweat that much and suffer that much in training you really become brothers bonded in mutual suffering but also teams goals. At the collegiate level, I find it really strange that you could have a locker room divided around race?

I can understand (even though a good coach should be able to manage it) divisions around playing time, offense-defense (if one side of the ball isn't perfroming) or even upper classmen vs. freshmen...But if you have racial divisions in the locker room?....your program really is a shit show imo
