Yes. You're correct. I live in Nashville. I just bought tickets from Vandy's website, and the start time is 11am (Noon EST).
You might not like that I'm going, because the last time I went to a Michigan basketball game was the 2013 Championship game in Atlanta against Louisville. But I couldn't miss the opportunity this time. Hopefully we have better luck.
Don't kill me, this is only my opinion. I have watched every game this year. Franz has shown great defense, but his offense has been lacking, again, in my opinion. He hasn't made his shots for the most part and has been sloppy while driving to the rim. My favorite lineup would be
Starter / Backup
1- DDJ / Zeb Jackson
2- J.Christopher / Brooks / Bajema
3- Livers / Franz
4- Todd / Johns / Williams
5- Dickinson / Castleton
And if Livers goes pro and Todd signs a contract overseas, then i still see us having a really good squad if we land JC.
Weren't Jordy Nelson and Victor Cruz low star(2-3*) recruits out of HS? Guys out play their ratings sometimes. I think we'll be fine if everyone can stay healthy and we get better QB play.
And I'd bet that every recruiting cycle for the past umpteen years, there has always been an area we need to improve upon. I don't think we will ever have a perfect class.
...let's not get carried away here. I get that our bias opinions are going to show up on a board like this, but Brady was missing a lot during the game, hence the pick six and a couple more near the end of regulation that should have been picked off. One of those was amazingly hauled in by one of his "fairly marginal" receivers. Edelman saved the day, but you are correct, that it was Brady that won that game......not Bill Belichick.
He is the reason I could be so proud of my sports teams, especially the Tigers. When people were laughing at me for being a fan (43-119), I told them "you just wait, they'll be good again". Can't believe that was 14 yrs ago. I'm a 15yr veteran. Spent a lot of time around people that weren't Tigers fans. Don't get me wrong, I have been very proud of my/our Red Wings as well. No one else can claim 20+ years straight making the post season (4 major sports). I just have to say Thank you Mr. Iilitch for the memories!!
....it makes me all giddy inside. And my wife went to UT (Knoxville), so you can imagine how much eye rollin' happens in my house. But I have to say, there is A LOT of blue down here in the Nashville area.
I was thinking the exact same thing you were. Most of those comments sound completely childish and/or illogical. I mean......what did you think Partridge was going to do once he got the job at UofM? Recruit them to Rutg-arbag-ers? Or try and not recruit the best players he has a coach/player relationship with? Open your New Jersey eyes folks.
...But it is fun to speculate. I know Bredeson played LG for a bit as well, so what about this look if Ruiz is as solid as Cole was as a Freshman, just for this year;
LT - JBB/Newsome
LG - Bredeson/Kugler
C - Cole/Dawson
RG - Ruiz/Runyan
RT - Onwenu/Ulizio
And I bet Bredeson And Onwenu could flip from what I have listed. Just a thought. And finally....has anyone heard anything about LEATHERWOOD? Because I think that would give us extremely great depth if he goes Blue.
OH and I thought that was a very creative video as well.
"...ninety percent mental and the other half is physical."
If I were to have read it that way, I MIGHT have checked on it. Intentions are not always obvious. I've seen some dumb posts from people, and it gets on my nerves. My apologies for speaking my mind "once in a blue moon".
.....say for instance they have offered multiple WR's. Collins and three 3-star guys commit. Then, at the end of the day/recruiting cycle DPJ and Martin want on board. You're telling me you wouldn't worry about that? It's a legit concern.
I realize that Harbaugh/Drevno should be trusted when it comes to offensive lineman offers, but with Herbert, Hall, Honigford, & Stueber already committed.....and guys like I. Wilson, A. Leatherwood, T. Slaton, C. Ruiz, A. Banks, & H. Bainivalu either possible commits or flips, when do they stop allowing the lower tier guys to commit, knowing they can't take everyone? And considering what happened last year, I'm sure they don't want to pull offers from guys that are committed already.

No need to be quiet. You make excellent points. Thanks for the input.
Sorry guys. Anyone know how to just delay a post?

Half, or 1/2 is .50, which is also 50%.
"Football is 90% 50% coaching. The other 50% is physical."
C'mon man, let's not speak "Tabor".
