I've done nothing but compliment Borges in this thread. The only person I've been critical of is Devon and his unwillingness to throw the ball.
I just dont see how we can win given our O line's problems and Devon's fear of making a mistake. Nothing on Borges from me.

The only good news is that all of the plays where the DBs are in the pocket of the receiver and don't make a play will be picks and PBU's next year when these guys are a little older and more experienced.

People asked Borges to air it out, aggressively--been doing that.
Mix in some short passes and screens---check.
Don't run as much, and when you do, primarily use read option--check and check.
The result thus far: FIRE HIM.
So MGoBlog essentially wants to fire itself from play calling. Glad we've cleared that up.

You act like teams don't run successfully against run defenses, I don't know, multiple times every single game.
Plus, just saying "they've got 9 guys in the box" is totally meaningless.
If they have 9 guys in the box, but we've got a 4 on 3 blocking advantage to one side and we run the play successfully, it doesn't matter.

No people want him fired because he makes stupid calls in situation that the team cannot afford it. Example: Running on 3rd and 2 with the box stacked with 10 defenders after moving the ball at will through the air.
