MSU's starting RT Burkland takes medical DQ
Not to put more MSU stuff on the board, but this is something that actually affects their on-field performance and Michigan, so I think it's worth it. It appears Michigan State's starting right tackle, Skyler Burkland, has taken a medical DQ. IMO, he really wasn't that good of a player, but MSU has very little depth at OT and this probably forces them to put the really slow footed Dan France back out at OT. It is unfortunate that any player from any team has to end his career due to injuries, so I feel bad in that regard.
In less "I feel bad", they now have about '08 Michigan levels of depth along the o-line, minus having a Schilling-level guy (though I guess their LT could be about equal to an out-of-position Schilling), which won't help their poor performance in both run blocking and pass protection from last year. Look for Maxwell (or whoever they put at QB) to be even more shaken and in a hurry, and look for a weaker interior line to get even less push. Their only upgrade over a unit that looked like it couldn't get any worse last year is their LT, the rest of the unit is still extremely weak.
Have you hurd of Harvard!?
Then why do it fergodsakes! Geesh! People, screw MSU, Ohio and everyone else. When we start acting and playing like champions, all this obsessing over everybody's rosters and recruiting better simmer down or end. Sooo damn stupid!
It has an affect on Michigan on the field, which is why I posted it. I don't see how fans talking about recruiting or an opposing team's roster (a team that Michigan plays every year) makes it so the team won't act and play like champions, I don't see how it's obsessing over another team when it plays into Michigan's chances. Just like ND losing Golson, or if OSU lost a starting O-linemen (or PSU or any other team Michigan is playing did), it's relavent to Michigan.
So, not to make a stupid joke at your expense, but your reply is "Sooo damn stupid!"
Judges?
TING!!!
It's allowed.
I think we will win 10/11 games. If we don't progress at all, we should still be 9-3 or 10-2 based on not playing bama and playing all of the teams that we lost to at home. Furthermore, I feel much better about Gardner at QB than DR at QB. When Denard was at QB, I felt like we were too one dimensional. I'm also excited to see guys like Ojemudia, Pipkins, Bolden, Ross, and Wilson, who looked promising at times last year, after a year in the weight room and study under Mattison. Yeah, multiple injuries can derail any season, but assuming that nothing major happens we will have double digit wins.
Never heard of him.
Michigan offered him back in the year(s) where Dantonio owned the state.
He had a Michigan offer.

Nebraska defense will be atrocious this year. They graduated most of their best players and they weren't really good anyways. Taylor Marinez has always played badly against good defenses and Nebraska plays terribly on the road. remember 2011
Upvoted for the new avatar, that thing is awesome. Not sure I share your sentiments about Nebraska but let's hope you're right!
Bo Pelini is a magician with the secondary and they have talent there. If Michigan hasn't developed a running game by then and is one dimensional, Nebraska will be just fine. Wisconsin dominated them by putting ten people on the line, putting a running back in shotgun, and running right at them. If Michigan has developed a running game, I think the outcome will be similar to 2011. If not, it'll be tough.
EDIT: I do agree with you on Taylor Martinez, though. Despite his excellent year last year, I just don't buy into him as a big game quarterback.
while they are at full-strength in East Lansing.
MSU was supposed to return 4 starters on the OL in 2013. Now it's 3? They'll still have a decent OL IMO compared to some of the other BIG10 teams this fall.
But who's going to run the ball? Nick Hill and Jeremy Langford ? Or some RS or true frosh we haven't seen before.
Feel bad for the guy. Hope he recovers quickly and finds success again in the future.
