Minor's Status vs ND?

Submitted by Marley Nowell on
I know he's not starting but is he going to get significant playing time?

I really hope Minor is close to 100%. I like Brown, but there were several runs that he went down on that I couldn't help thinking that Minor would've at least gained a few more yards on/broken and ripped off a big run. We need MINOR RAGE!!

TheWolverine.com is reporting that Hemmingway is now questionable (50/50) versus ND and Minor is probable (75%). I can't post this as a new message on the board because I'm new, but someone should.

I haven't heard anything about Cissoko, but TheWolverine.com is citing Rodriguez as the source for the status of Hemmingway as questionable and Minor as probable (status apparently given Thursday evening). Minor being at 75% probability isn't really news, but Hemmingway as 50/50 is definitely news, not the kind we want.

will be the most interesting part of this game for me. I think Tenuta will try to make Michigan one dimensional like he did Nevada. Both Michigan and Nevada want to run, and we'll let them. We'll allow you to run and make sure no deep balls go for TDs. There will be a lot of 6 and 7 yard runs and the linebackers and safeties will have to make a lot of tackles. It's up to your guys to not get taken down with small/negative gains and not cough up the ball. If you have 2 or more fumble losses I think you stand no chance. On the other hand, if our linebackers don't tackle well and your backs rip off some long ones, we'll be in trouble. Thoughts?

I expect Tenuta to blitz like hell and force our OL to execute in the running game. However, I also think ND's front 7 is their primary weakness, and that this plays into our strength. UM's first half YPC will be a good gauge of how this plays out. I also expect us to blitz like hell to get the Emu moving around the pocket and/or taking sacks, hits, etc. I have little confidence in our secondary depth so we need pressure. Each team's offensive strength is the other's defensive weakness, IME.
