Tip-off is in a couple of minutes, dare I say - Must win?

I would love to know what's happening at practice that makes Jett think that a contested, off-balanced, 18-footer with 18 on the shot clock is a good shot.

One thing that happens with a young team is disconnected play on both ends. And poor team defense. That shows up in practice when coach is trying to teach the team "good shots" within the offense. If it's too easy to score against your defense in practice, you dont learn what "good shots" are, nor how to manufacture them against a good B1G defense like Northwestern.

I mean, yeah he’s been disappointing, but it’s not like Baker, Cheddar or anyone else who could take his minutes have been good either.

this roster is just constructed really poorly, and team’s ‘basketball iq’ is way below what it needs to be

edit: i take it back. The total lack of effort rebounding FTs there was pathetic. Sit him for good

Juwan called 2 TO's with the TV TO's on the horizon, his substitution patterns are nonsensical. His roster management is inane.

He needs to go, I've always loved Juwan but the program is regressing in a really annoying way.

This team is soft mentally and physically.

Don’t go up strong under the hoop and no one takes charges.  We also can’t rebound.  When the going gets tough we fade

Also, Juwan’s rotations.  When we’re rolling he makes mass substitutions.  WTF?  And roster construction?  Three true guards on the roster and one is out for the season.  We have 85 wings and only 1 or 2 can even play.

After two early 3's, Jett hasn't scored. After giving good minutes at Iowa, Tschetter hasn't seen the court. If Coach Howard sprinkles in some Tschetter and Barnes occasionally, maybe they wouldn't play so frenetically when they get in. It seems that when Barnes is in, he tries too hard to make a splash play so that he can stay and get back on court.

They say that Juwan is a good X's and O's coach. Maybe, he's more suited to be a wonky assistant.
