Michigan sticking with Prattville LB Dytarious Johnson
PRATTVILLE – Dytarious Johnson says Michigan is sticking with him.
The three-star linebacker was unable to sign with the Wolverines today on National Signing Day due to what he described as a transcript problem, but said Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is still offering him a scholarship despite talk of there may not be room for him in the 2016 class.
“I wasn’t worried about it,” said the 6-foot, 215-pound Johnson said. “He and I kept in contact a lot. He told me he was going to hang on with me. So I tried my best to get where I need to be.”
Prattville High coach Chad Anderson said school plans to have a second ceremony for Johnson and other players in the near future.
“The coaches from (Michigan) have been really good with us,” Anderson said about the transcript situation. “Their academic compliance has been good with us. Just trying to get it all sorted out so he’ll be taken care of. If he choose to, you’ll see him in Michigan uniform for sure.”

Harbaugh is such a bad guy. Looks to screw kids wherever he can. #Sarcasm

I really want him in the class, especially with coach sticking by him. If he can get his grades up he may be special

Seeing as we still have 2 open spots... why not?

Great. I would really like to see him play at Michigan. I understand all the concerns with his size but I like what I see on tape and I like the things he can do. Most importantly he tackles in space.
I hope it works out.

Definitely a position of need and I would like us to throw all the bodies we can at those spots.

If he can make it in, he looks like he could be a solid player down the road. He's a thumper, not blazing speed but could be a rock at LB.

This thread seems to have been largely ignored but I am really glad he is going to get a chance if he earns it. I liked his tape. I like the pipeline Harbaugh is building at his school. And I like that the kid has a chance to turn his academic career around because Michigan is taking a flyer on him. Win-win for everyone.
