This will be your thread for quick hits, hot takes and such regarding the offense and offensive playcalling for our game against Michigan State.

Maybe. I'm holding out hope that they won't leave to be late-round picks when they could play themselves into the first round with a better passer.

Edit: I just went back to look at DK Metcalf's draft profile. DPJ is the most likely to run a 4.3X, which could make him a mid-round pick despite his level of production.

A lot probabaly depends on if they feel that returning to Michigan will actually give them a chance to improve their draft stock. Hopefully what we saw today was more of what we can expect moving forward and not just a blip. They're not coming back to get 2-3 targets per game.

Didn’t score on the first two possessions. Scored on every single one after. Shea's best game as a Wolverine. And as big of a beatdown that was, they were a couple of mistakes away from putting up even more. Go Blue! Fuck State!

I've been upset with and incredibly underwhelmed by and very critical of Shea's game/ability since the Bowl game against Florida last year. But gotta give him a big tip of the cap today. Best game he's had as a Wolverine and possibly the best game a UM QB has had since... I can't immediately think of a better game off hand. Probably best since Carr era? Did Ruddock have a game on this level when he was here? Big Kudos to Shea. They put a lot on his shoulders in this one and he stepped up.

Shea had a fantastic game. Still had a few wide open receivers that he ignored for dump offs that were a little frustrating to see from the stands and he still can't run the read option with any regularity that he's going to make the right decision, but at this point that's expected from him. Overall great game

Atrocious the beginning of the 1st half, got in their grove the more the game went on.

Throw that 2 QB trick play right in the trash.

Bell is the best WR on the team, but a large margin.

Yeah - and if he hadn’t been knocked down is was clear sailing with blockers in front! I’m sure there are variations off that play. As noted, the right side TE was running a deep route. If the D overreacts to the 2 QB formation, one of the blocking WRs could release as well. Really don’t mind trying a few trick plays.
