Thinking this is not a good sign. Could mean that Michigan feels they might miss out on Delance and Davis. Crystal Balls have been all Maryland for Davis and Rivals just put their bet on Texas being the pick for Delance. Hope this isn't the case.

There are probably more so called "unheralded" recruits playing in the NFL than there are 5 stars. Obviously there is a larger cross section of unheralded recruits because 5 stars are few and far between. I guess my point is we can't sweat this. In Drevno and Harbaugh we trust.
Weren't the Glasgow brothers walk-ons?

I would rather take my chances with a bunch of five stars. Alabama seems to do ok with very highly rated players all over the field. Are there numerous stories about underrated guys making it big, of course, but on balance you obviously want the higher rated players. Rankings, and recruiting, do really matter.

I agree. Typically the higher rated the better. Bama has the luxury of sitting many of its 4*-5* kids. Kids like Hand and Harris get to learn and sometimes even redshirt because of the depth. That depth takes time. RR really hurt our depth on the line, and Brady addressed that problem by throwing young, highly touted guys into the fire with little to no training. Harbaugh will have the time to recruit and develop guys. Him and Drevno will certainly improve our line regardless of whose there. But yeah, I'd still rather have highly touted 5* kids if given the choice. That's just me

Exactly. It's like when you and your wife get in a fight so you go out and bang that high school girl down the street. It doesn't mean you're getting a divorce, it just means you're covering all of your bases and that high school chick is hot and has totally been eyeing you when pull in from work this week. She totally wants some of this.
