Michigan now a 1 seed in Lunardi's Bracketology
Michigan has officially moved onto the 1 line in Joe Lunardi's Bracketology. Purdue, Indiana, Sparty & Duke are the last 4 byes.

Football has been over for months and y’all are still crying. Please excuse us while the top 3 team in the nation takes the spotlight away from the BPONE

We are playing like a #1 seed for sure. Let's keep it up.
Thinking Sparty looking like a #1 or #2 seed for the NIT. Believe that would be a good tourney for them...

The basketball team has been like a breath of fresh air. Which is saying a lot because we're all masked. I don't think these guys have peaked, do you guys? There is still some chemistry to build, some individual improvements to be made. Definitely, one of the hardiest 'Go Blue!'s I've given in awhile! :0

The format in this is not good in my opinion. Why is it last four byes, first four out, last four in, next four out?

I wondered that too...Also why does he do seeding for a 48 & 16 seed tournament? Who cares?

It is kinda wild to see Indiana, Duke, MSU, Syracuse and North Carolina all in bubble territory at the same time. I'm not complaining of course.
That formatting sucks.

Last four in have to do the play-in game on Tuesday. Last 4 byes are the teams that avoid that.

Seeing sparty Indiana and dook as the last four byes really makes me happy. Now if they could only not make the tournament that would be amazing

The universal refrain is that the Big Ten is a charnel house, and that all schools will have many losses before all is said and done (before the end of the season). But it's beginning to look like Michigan is head and shoulders above the rest of the conference and could emerge virtually unscathed.
Iowa may be closer to Michigan than to the rest of the conference, but the rest seem definitely in a lower tier.

ESPN put an "aq" next to Purdue. I thought Lunardi was suggesting that they were going to win the conference tourney. It must be a mistake though because Michigan also got the "aq."
