I'm sure it has been discussed, but is there a home night game this year? I don't see an evening start time on the mgoblue schedule. Unless it has been ruled out, a maize-out in September would be a good evening for a night game.

This isn't necessarily a plea against night games, but frankly I miss big games at 3:30, a la Notre Dame in the 2000s. Early season has the nice golden hour of sun late in games and later in the season it turns dark anyways just as the pressure heats up in the 4th Q. I have good memories of some big 3:30 games.
Strong chance the game against Northwestern (at Northwestern) the following week will be at night.
First five games of the year - three of them at night.

TV now controls it up to two week notice up until the 2nd week of November I believe, Yes we will have one night game. I prefer it to be earlier the better like Nebraska

I'll toss an affirming opinion in here - the maize outs would be cooler with the pom poms, even though maize is a pretty sweet color to begin with and no, I am in no way biased there.
My wife, the Northwestern alum, thinks I am biased, but then I tell her, "OK, so start a Purple-Out or something."

Fab - didn't even notice that. Now if just the people who GO to the game would even bother paying attention and wear maize. Gets -so- old when we're trying to present a united front and easily 1/3-1/2 of the people are wearing every color BUT maize.
