Guys, don't forget the fact that southern players get a bump just because they play in the south. Sam was talking about that this winter. More subscribers mean they appeal to members to keep numbers up, so those players get more interest and thus better ratings. He mentioned that northern and midwest players have out performed their ratings more than southern and west coast players. It doesn't mean they were worse to begin with, they were just lower rated because they only give out so many 4 and 5 star ratings.

Sounds like the kid is just trying to create some suspense for the inevitable OSU commitment. It also helps for 247 to sell subscriptions.

One was absolutely horrible, the other never really inspired much confidence, and the 3rd looked bad against good competition and looks like he lost his job, to a guy that has yet to take a meaningful snap at UM. I say every bit of criteria this column uses is based on last year, and yeah we are ranked really high, considering.

Aren't you being a little dramatic? "People need to calm down". Who's over excited?  Jeff George Jr is not very good, and nothing has been confirmed on whether this is a walk on, and unless someone is leaving or Peters and McCaffrey suck, this is not a very good use of a scholarship for the next 2 yrs. He should be able to develop anyone on the roster to play to Jeff George Jr's capabilities.

Why do you consider him more of a true OT than Jones (who everyone else I've heard from, considers him a true OT) Stewart or Barnhart?  They all seem to be the same size, and from the tape I've watched they all seem to be very similar, except Barnhart, because of the system he plays in.
