Per Michigan, Isaiah Livers is out indefinitely with a groin injury.

FUCK YOU !!!
December 27th, 2019 at 5:21 PM ^
This is what should have been expected - he's not playing a meaningless game and will be evaluated before January 5th game.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:02 PM ^
Brandon Johns , you’re up !!!!!
December 27th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
in the event of a [groin injury] lasting for four hours or more, hi-five a buddy
December 27th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
Do you have a link?
December 27th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
From Quinn, but I'm not smart enough to embed the link so here it is:

see quinn link above ^^^^

Absolutely nothing in the OP lmao
Glad Brandon Johns is starting to come along. Gonna have to readjust our expectations back to just make the tournament and finish top-4 in the B1G depending on how long he’s out.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
If we finish top 4 in the B1G we're not "just making the tourney", we're still a top 25 team at worst. Just making the tourney with our non con performance would correlate to a .500 or under B1G performance.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
Gonna be hard to win the B1G regular season without him if he’s out for awhile is all I’m saying. Very well aware we won’t be a bubble team if we finish tied for 4th in the conf.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:39 PM ^
Really? It is going to be very difficult to win the B1G with him. That said, this team has shown good grit and plenty of talent.
December 27th, 2019 at 8:58 PM ^
I never thought we were winning it with him. Even after the Bahamas.
The league is too tough.
I went into the season thinking we were an #7-#9 seed.
I left the Bahamas thinking we were maybe a #3, probably a #4 seed at the end of the year.
I still think we're a #4 at the end of the year...without Livers, I put us at a #6ish range.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
At least he spelled Livers' name correctly.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:34 PM ^
December 27th, 2019 at 8:59 PM ^
He likely won't see this. For anyone who doesn't slurp from the fountain of Walmart Douche, he places in his troll cave.
December 27th, 2019 at 9:33 PM ^
Wtf WD. that was a silly post.
Apparently you forgot we throttled Gonzaga, beat a few other top teams too. Our tourney resume is already solid.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
Time fo Bajema to be the Duncan Robinson role when he came in ! Hit few outside shots
December 27th, 2019 at 4:51 PM ^
Mo fo. Get well Isaiah!!
December 27th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
Not great, but indefinitely is a pretty vague term. He’s probably better to rest up rather than play this weekend to be 100% for MSU
December 27th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
my guess is this is weeks type injury when using that term, and therefore probably not available for msu
December 27th, 2019 at 4:17 PM ^
Yeah although indefinitely is a vague term, if it was a couple weeks they'd say a couple weeks. In this instance indefinitely likely means "for a while."
December 27th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
When we're being told that he's out indefinitely, that usually means he won't be ready for a game that's set to take place in a little over a week's time.
Would love to be wrong, but Michigan should plan for the MSU game as if Livers will not be in the lineup.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:38 PM ^
But if we’re just tricking MSU into gameplanning for a Livers-less Michigan then he plays?
December 27th, 2019 at 9:09 PM ^
I hope that strategy is true.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:48 PM ^
“Indefinitely” isn’t vague at all. It means they have no timetable for his return. And if there’s no timetable for his return, then there’s a 0% chance he’ll be ready for MSU.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:17 PM ^
This is way better than definitely being out, right?
December 27th, 2019 at 4:18 PM ^
I mean the next big game won’t be until January 5 which gives him 10 more days of rest. As long as it doesn’t require surgery it should be fine. Wagner had surgery on his arm and I’m sure he was all ready to go but Howard didn’t mention anything about him then we go to the Bahamas and he’s playing 20+ min even tho most thought he would be out until early December. Coaches do this all the time so I wouldn’t worry too much at this point
December 27th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
Fuck muscles!
December 27th, 2019 at 5:16 PM ^
And . . . now I have a name for my fantasy team next year
December 27th, 2019 at 5:42 PM ^
And in Livers’ case, fuck fuck muscles!
December 27th, 2019 at 7:51 PM ^
I hope Livers' Fuck Muscle heals soon
December 27th, 2019 at 4:49 PM ^
Its Always something with Michigant teams..This is really bad news for a inconsistent team However the Bench is somewhat deep and Livers was inconsistent so someone needs to step up!..I said it before that game..I HATE those cupcake games because they do NOTHING for the team or resume and the risk of injury and lo and behold it happens...

Yes, I wish Livers had gotten injured against a more competitive opponent. That would make me feel better.
December 27th, 2019 at 9:08 PM ^
Why?
Then we probably lose the game. And injury is an injury...what if it was at practice? Is that better or worse?
Your feelings are weird.
December 28th, 2019 at 4:08 AM ^
You apparently don't feel sarcasm.
December 28th, 2019 at 5:24 AM ^
I was responding to the other poster. Clicked on the sarcastic post then read it as the one I meant to respond to...
That said, my point stands. To whoever thinks this is a result of playing a bad team.
Dumb take. I'd rather Livers get hurt and win over Livers get hurt and lose against a great team.
Better yet...just don't get hurt. Ever.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:06 PM ^
Based on what I’ve heard from a buddy who works for the team, it’s much more likely the timetable is sometime in March for a return, not the MSU game.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:12 PM ^
March? Let me guess after all our MSU and Osu games have been played.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:29 PM ^
fuck my ass
December 27th, 2019 at 6:34 PM ^
No thanks.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:16 PM ^
Jeebus, talk about a dong punch...
December 27th, 2019 at 5:40 PM ^
This is a pretty big blow. Could derail the season if he is out for long. That is one guy we could not lose.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:03 PM ^
Think Teske would be a bigger loss. Johns can replace Livers but Castleton/Davis would be a much bigger falloff.
December 27th, 2019 at 10:26 PM ^
No fucking way livers to johns is a smaller dropoff. Livers can guard 1-4 and is our most consistent offensive player that can distort a defense
December 27th, 2019 at 6:35 PM ^
ya, i didn't like the look of it when it happened. wagner and johns are going to have to step up big time; especially wagner on the scoring front.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:04 PM ^
Looks like a new decade won’t bring any better luck for Michigan. Keep getting kicked in the balls repeatedly. Will get swept by Staee and struggle to make the tournament.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:48 PM ^
I would say it's doubtful we win in EL. I still think we have a great chance at home and would bet on us to win that game.
This team will have no issue making the tourney. That's just lunacy.
