I love how Downing is always making sure Racine gets plenty of shots and doesn't get complacent. When he whiffs at the blueline and allows a 1-0 chance, he is clearly trying to get Racine involved in the defense. It's actually brilliant.

from a liability to mediocre but erratic to an asset over the last 3 years. If we play half-way decent defense this upcoming post-season, I like our chances with him in goal.

off game today for them though, after the first goal they have not had too many even strength chances...if you are watching this game and can't see that I can't help you

the defense and goaltending are exactly why its the biggest confidence boost for the NCAA Tournament.....not really sure why you are arguing with my point
