Michigan First up on SiriusXM College Sports Nation
Garvie Craw's son was the first caller to Sirius' College Sports Nation show this AM. He mentioned "My dad would be smiling down from heaven now, a great win for Michigan yesterday." The announcers were generally positive re Michigan's win over MSU, but for whatever reason they still picked OSU over the Wolverines in November. Our men will shock the media on Urban's turf.
Touching to see how Craw instilled in his son a passion for Michigan and our beloved Wolverines. GO BLUE!
For those interested, the Bentley Library summary of Michigan's epic 1969 win and Craw's two TDs. Never gets old.

Going into the season, I gave OSU homefield advantage and picked them to beat us this year. I change my pick now with the way our defense is playing, and the way theirs is playing. I think it could be another high-scoring game similar to last year, but I think Braxton and OSU will have a much tougher time moving the ball against us than we will against them.

1969 like it was yesterday. It was a nice day as November's go. My Dad was not a huge Michigan fan but he hated ohio. We were watching it on a 19" Black and White TV. My Dad said, "There is no way this young kid can beat those rednecks".
When we finally pulled it off, Dad screamed with excitement; "that sonsah bitch did it. He beat those Redneck bastards" I was hooked. I never missed watching an ohio game in my life.
This brings back some wonderful memories. We will prevail in November and beat those rednecks.

If we beat Nebraska, the OSU game may not have any impact on our Big Ten championship aspirations. I wonder if this will have any affect on the game from a psychological standpoint.

I sincerely doubt it. It may make a loss a tiny bit more bearable, especially if we win the B1G title game, but the way Hoke has been putting an emphasis on The Game for the past two years I would be shocked if we didn't try just as hard as we did last year.

OSU's team was in turmoil and they still gave us a hell of a battle.

OSU's defense did suck last year, their Offense just did a lot better than we thought they would

I think it's insane that you think they can't beat UM. Their D may not be very good, but Miller can win in a shootout game. Their offense is pretty damn good with him running the show, depending on his health of course.
