Michigan Embarrassing Ticket Giveaway

Submitted by 814 East U on

This HAS to be rock bottom...at least I hope. Received this picture from a relative who is a student.

Sorry to all those MGoUsers who claimed 100% fake...because I just picked up 2 100% real tickets to Minny.

More proof...

Could someone please help me out, grow up in Hell Mi, never went to a game because it was atlways next time. Joined the military and spent the last 30 years watching and listening from afar, but now I'm back and even if it's not the best of times, would love to get to see the Maize and Blue in life. Trying to buy tickets on stubhub. My question is where to sit and enjoy the game and I will enjoy it no matter what the outcome is. Seen the whole world, fought some war's, but this will fill that empty hole after all these years.....Thanks.... Sent from my iPad

...and we can discuss over email.  Honestly, I much prefer to give away my tickets to crap games (big games, different stories).  I sold my tickets to the ASU game to some friends for face about a month before the game.  I felt dirty doing so.

Anyways, let's discuss over email.  Since I have season tickets, its easy to transfer tickets to people.

This is real. Just had a friend who has never heard of MGoBlog just call me and say he got 2 tickets for the price of 2 Coke's at Ugo's and asked if I wanted to go.

I said no, becuase I have tickets to go see CHVRCHES instead.

Holy mother of Baby Jesus!  You cannot be serious!!!!  What is wrong with D Brandon?  What's next, are they going to try to fly the football in on a remote control helicoptor or something else riduloucly cheap and gimmicky?

This seems legit.  Sorry for doubting you OP.  Giving tickets to students is a nice gesture, IMO.  Coupling it with a lame corporate tie-in squanders that good will, and probably then some.

I want to hear from TaiStreetsmyHero and the rest of the gang who were giving me, Lexus Larry and everybody else shit last year for not renewing our season tickets.  I would love to hear why we should've paid through the nose for the priviledge of sitting in the same freaking seat near people who got in for the price of a freaking can of soda.   I want to hear more about what "fair weather fans" we are for not paying list price plus the manditory seat donation fees for tickets now rendered worthless by the Athletic Department.

This reminds me of XM radio.  I like XM and for years I renewed the subscription on my vehicles without thinking anything of it.  179.99/year or something like that.  Then, when I got my boat i suspended service in the winter cause I wasnt using it obviously and the offers flooded my inbox.  When they got to 29.99 for a year if I would only come back I realized what a sucker I had been all these years and immediately cancelled ALL my subscriptions.  Sure enough - within 48 hours the same offers I got on the boat came for the cars and I effectively dropped my annual rate fro 179 to 29.  And the geniuses running XM marketing showed me how to do it.

That's what I dont get.  Doesnt Brandon realize that he's chasing something that is going to bite him squarely in the ass HARD next year?  Why on earth would anybody renew their tickets after this - just hang around and somebody will give you pair just to get your ass in the seat.

Right there with you MGrowOld. Preach. There are just some people who believe M can do no wrong and if you are not with them whole heartedly you are against them.

It is similar to people who want to start the wave and those who are opposed to it. The two sides cannot coexist.
