I guess the women's gymnastics NIL program is working just fine.

I knew we had their number..... I was just thinking it was in another sport.
Congratulations ladies, outstanding!

2021 was a looooong year, because I had forgotten all abt this Championship. Ladies came up big last year, let's see if we can do it again!!

If you've never seen the finish to the championships, it is definitely worth a watch.
Super thrilling and literally came down to the final apparatus/score.

Yup. I'm not sure I even watched it live at the time. I just remember the commentary on the last few rotations on this site.

Clearly the Georgia bagmen weren't doing their job this time.

A bag lady is a completely different animal.

UM Women's Gymnastics obviously has their NIL game down...even UGA is envious.

Had to show Georgia that there is just another level.

Guess we're now a women's gymnastics school.

Their next meet is a home meet on Saturday, January 15th at 4:00 p.m. v. Arizona State. The event will include the 2021 NCAA Championship Celebration.
We are so fortunate to have long-term, uber-successful coaches in women's gymnastics and softball.
Kudos to Bev Plocki and Carol Hutchins.

Now I won't look so foolish for wearing my BEAT GEORGIA button around town.
Seriously though, congrats to the team. Anytime Michigan beats Georgia, it's a good day.

Georgia has been national champs 10 times since the competition began in 1982, including 5 straight from 2005 through 2009.
Other winners are:
Oklahoma (4), UCLA (7), Florida (3), Alabama (6) and Utah (9) - with Michigan that makes only 6 winners of the national championship. Michigan was also runner-up in 1999.
Any time you beat one of the 5 it is a BIG deal.

Sweet, at least we beat them in something.

LOL, maybe THAT'S what we should have been wearing in the Orange Bowl instead of blue pants!
