Michigan's next basketball opponent having a hard time today

Michigan needs to keep its Focus on BGSU today, but its next opponent, Oakland, is having a hard time so far today: down 51-12(!) to Xavier with 1:17 left in the first half.

Take it one game at a time. This is basketball not football. Every game can be drastically different week to week and if you have a bad shooting day, even the worst teams in the country can pull the upset. Upsets happen every day and teams can have bad shooting nights. So don’t overreact over any outcome. It’s normal in college basketball. Remember we struggled against app state last year then demolished everyone in the battle for Atlantis tourney. So relax sit down and enjoy the games. It’s gonna be a fun season! Go Blue!

I'd imagine not the lowest ever, but in 1983 Cincinnati wasn't very good and played #2 Kentucky.  It was before college had a shot clock and Cincy used a "four corners" stall strategy.  Cincy's first possession consisted of 20+ passes.

UC took only five first-half shots and trailed 11-7 at intermission. At one point, Cincy held the ball for seven minutes, 22 seconds.

Kentucky won 24-11.

Now, granted they played North Carolina A&T but the Illini just dropped....122 points in their game today. Will be interested to see how they follow that up but YIKES....

Adam Miller had a monster 1st game. Being from Chicago, kind of surprised we didn't pursue Miller earlier. He looks like a player. On another note, just watched Josh Christopher play, hes nothing special so far. He would've been a good addition to our team but he wouldn't be the star by any stretch.

Oakland plays twice before we play them - who makes their schedule?

I think Kampe has reached the downside of his career arc.  Oakland was below .500 in Horizon last year and probably won't be much better this year.
