Was it Bolden or Gardner we were pursuing more heavily? Just wondering, because I know it was brought up earlier at some point. Gardner is obviously the consensus Top 100 QB, but he's also obviously a tUoOS lean. At the same time, it's clear that because we got Cameron Gordon, that's likely good leverage for us for Gardner. I don't know much about Bolden.

don't seem to realize, they offered a 2011 kid already, have tajh boyd coming in, and haven't offered DG. in fact i doubt they will as they've already promised the 2011 kid (braxton miller) that he's the starter whenever TP leaves. and you think DG's gonna go there?

Do you by any chance walk around in a fur coat with a top hat on and a cigar in your mouth surrounded by four women on each arm Tom? Please say yes or my long lasting image of you will be shattered therefore I will have to start blasting my music to Death Cab for a Cutie and begin to cut myself.

According God (TomVH) Bolden is more of a pocket passer and less of a RR type guy, which is a big reason we aren't going after him as much. This is all secondhand though, I reserve the right to be wrong. And yes, I pray to TomVH before bed and meals. Outloud.

I normally would agree. I was more surprised that Shafer was listed as the person recruiting him. Which makes me wonder if there was some other sort of connection between the two, or if a quarterback being recruited by the defensive coordinator is a normal occurrence.

Weren't there a few highly touted QBs in Drew Henson's class? I seem to remember that there was a kid from Marshall, MI that went to MSU (and didn't pan out) that was pretty highly regarded and someone else, but I can't remember who. I'm probably wrong; it's just what I seem to remember for some reason.
