MGoPaperchase?

Would any fellow board members be up for helping get a Detroit News physical paper down to Tampa?

If anyone knows a way, or who to contact at DetNews, to order one and have it sent down here that would work too. Spent some time looking around the site and came up empty.

I've got my Detnews, Freep, A2 News papers from Jan 2 1998 and I'd love to add to them.

Yeah I hit them up last week. The reply I got was that they'd send me a print of the front page, not the actual paper (which makes sense bc the actual paper runs as part of a huge process). I'll order the print if I come up dry. I have a few Red Wings prints from the cup runs too, they're nice.

First Pete Finebaum and now The Detroit News, lol. Congrats on getting your connect. Can I ask on how you plan on preserving your papers?

My plan (for too long now) has been to get them framed behind uv glass, sometimes called conservation glass. I have a large stack of papers inside of an opaque container that I keep in climate controlled environments in the mean time. Just haven't had a home that would accommodate a bunch of framed papers yet.
