Mgoboard Extension

Brian, Can you extend the MGoBoard to display more than 5 threads in sidebar view? There is plenty of room on this side --------> for 10 or even 15 threads. The lazy people thank you.

you see the "1 of 19" on the bottom, right? if you click the little arrow next to it you get the next page. is that not sufficient?

but we're lazy sonsabitches brian. i co-sign yvgeni. btw, i think its because the mgoboard gets updated pretty quickly (and this is supposed to be the off-season) compared to the diaries so lotsa times topics get buried to the 3rd and 4th page just within a day or two. anyways.

While I agree with those who maintain that checking for recent posts is easy and requires little to no effort, some people post "new" threads that are redundant to threads posted on the "next page." Yes, these people should make a better effort to see if there is already a thread for that particular topic. But as long as we have posters who are unwilling to do so, a longer list might reduce duplicity.

Because I have some (a.)knowledge about web layout and (b.)confidence that you know what you're doing... I'm sure you realize this is not a good idea. If I were to offer any design advice, perhaps you might consider incorporating some navigation or logins into the banner portion of the page? There's a lot of wasted space to the right of the banner graphic... precious, vital above the scroll space, if you ask me. Otherwise it's darn comfy and clean 'round here-- don't change anything else.
