MGoBlue.com: Yesterday's Official Player Participation
http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/090410aad.html
Of Note:
-Kovacs took every snap at "SS" - M. Robinson played special teams only
-Patterson was the back-up at NT - Campbell did not play a snap on D
-DiLeo was the holder. If his redshirt is going to be burned to hold on kicks, might as well give him a shot on Punt Returns
-No Stokes at WR
-J. Jackson only true freshman to take a snap at WR
-No Cox or Hopkins at TB

What do you mean they are ineligible for a red shirt year? You can play 3 of the first 6 games and still be eligible for a red shirt.

From the NCAA website:
"You should know that NCAA rules indicate that any competition, regardless of time, during a season counts as one of your seasons of competition in that sport. It does not matter how long you were involved in a particular competition (for example, one play in a football game, one point in a volleyball match); you will be charged with one season of competition."

I think that's the rule for Medical Redshirts.

and it ended up going 51 yards... Not the prettiest punt in the world, but pretty damn effective.

Did the linemen really play every snap without break (except for Molk's nick up)? I was wondering if Lewan shared any time with Huyge, but it looks like the big boys weren't in to sharing today.

Anyone else surprised that Shaw and Smith were the only ones who played at running back?
I am not complaining at all! Those guys looked great but I thought that he would throw out some of the other guys just to see how they did in a real game.
Thoughts?

Dileo. mgoblue.com has his name as Drew Dileo, not DiLeo.
