Wow, I saw that the chains were on the ground during the game. I made a joke about it because I thought the guy dropped the chains. I feel like a dick now.
Hope he's okay.

just how fast something tragic can happen to anyone at anytime. Regardless of your current health or fitness level...life can end or be horribly altered in the blink of an eye.
I remember walking out of work one day many years ago and seeing a guy fall down ahead of me. Another guy beside him was a first-responder and started working on him right away. The ambulance was there within about 5 minutes...but they said he was dead when he hit the ground. Massive heart-attack to a guy in his early 30's and in great shape.
Life is short....and tenuous.

You said it, man. I've witnessed three collapses in the last few months, just randomly. The latest one was today actually. I have no idea how any of them turned out, but I hope for the best. I hope this Northwestern man recovers!

says he was 83 years old and had spent the last 47 seasons on the chain gang. That's very impressive. Best wishes to him for a complete and speedy recovery.
