If there's such a thing as a "good loss", hopefully this will be it for this team.  They got punched in the second half & didn't respond, got outworked defensivly, took their foot off the pedal after building an 11-point lead and after the way Buffalo came after them, they still seem oblivious to the fact that teams are going to treat their games against UofM as their SB.

Coach Howard will have their full attention as that humble pie digests slowly.  Let's hope this lights a fire for this team to go out and earn it every game.

Pretty pathetic that people here are blaming this loss on refs. Michigan was absolutely putrid on both ends in the second half. There was no leadership at the pg position, and the two freshmen were total non-factors. And johns. Good lord, he was a hot mess and has been so for 3 games. He’s fallen back into headcase mode. That was as disjointed, sloppy, and rudderless as this team has played in 3 years.

I see no leadership on this team through the first 3 games.

I have watched objectively and don't see a NC caliber team. Its almost the exact opposite of the feeling I got from last years team through their first few games. I felt last years team had that "IT" factor. This team feels like a hodge-podge of talent that isn't even close to cohesion.

This isn't writing off the season but we all have to admit this team feels clunky and undisciplined. PG is a glaring weakness. Crazy how we all thought we were good. I see nothing about Jones play that says he can QB this team.
