WHY CANT STUPID ADIDAS MATCH HELMET WING MAIZE WITH HELMET STICKER MAIZE OR HELMET WING MAIZE WITH JERSEY NUMBERS MAIZE OR JERSEY NUMBERS MAIZE WITH PANTS MAIZE. PLEASE GO BACK TO NIKE WHEN EVERYTHING WAS REAL MICHIGAN MAN MAIZE AND AWESOME.
If Jaylen Brown chooses Michigan and eliminates UK because they aren't an Adidas school, will you change your mind about Adidas?
Depends on who we lost so far and will lose in the future by not being a Nike school.
If I'm a recruit, I want my uni to match and not look ridiculous.
I was at this game and admittedly have only seen bits and pieces of the telecast through the years (even though I know the entire game has been posted here before), so this was actually pretty funny to watch. I especially liked how Jackson introduced that, "Well, I think it's time...", right after the Wheatley TD.
During that era there was a combined UM/OSU Glee Club concert on the campus where the Game was played. The Friars poked a lot of fun at OSU during the Cooper era. During their banter, one of the Friars said that while he was out playing catch with Desmond that afternoon, he looked at his watch and "it was about 31 to 3."
(wistful)
would say that a big player "didn't look like he's missed too many meals". Ditto, Keith. Hope all's going well at age 86.

Not only a Hoss but "Mr. Irrrelevant" in the 1992 draft. I hope he is doing well.

I remember that Florida State game that year KJ mentions...I also remember paying them back the next year.
I hate the cheating Bowden's.
How did we pay them back in '92?
We did lose to Washington in '91, but beat them in '92.

He was a couple years ahead of me, but we used to drink (wink) together at the now defunct O'Sullivans which morphed into another room at Charley's at some point. Great guy who when I bump into him today at games still recognizes me instantly and asks how I'm doing. Helped that I moved to DC (after he was drafted Mr. Irrelevant by the 'Skins) and ran into him on my second day in the city.
His one shame he shared is that the line was completely hungover before playing Steve Emtman and the Huskies in the '92 Rose Bowl. He told a story how they basically told Grbac to get into his drops IMMEDIATELY. Still, those lines were clinics.
Had a crazy hall. Had Greg Skrepenak, Matt Elliot, Cornelius Simpson and Ron Zielinski on my hall. They were great guys. Remember a time when some non-student types were roaming the hall and clearly casing the place. I asked them what they needed. They looked at me and hustled out the door with a look of fear. I am all of 5'5" but felt pretty good. Clearly, they were intimidated by the authority I wielded. I turned around to see standing behind me: Greg Skrepenak, Matt Elliot, and Ron Zielinksi!
