Mario Ojemudia driven by Family's work ethic
Really nice article in the DetNews by Tom Markowski about Mario Ojemudia and everything from his family's nigerian roots to his rise and development as a top national prospect.
"Though I wasn't very big, I have a lot of heart. You have to be pretty fast to make up for it. I did pretty good as a sophomore but I wanted to play defense. It was hard not to play defense. There were so many seniors ahead of me. I was on the sidelines watching and saying to myself I could do better."
Mario was given his chance to play defense as a junior and made it count. He increased his weight to 215 and proved to be one of the state's top linemen. He was one of two juniors selected to The Detroit News Dream Team.

What a great story. Thanks for sharing this kaykay. I can't wait to see what the 2011 recruits do on the field, let alone the 2012 ones.

This is the kind of thing we should be discussing instead of Casey Anthony, the Freep obsessions, and especially Mark Dantonio.
Great story, can't wait to see him in the maize and blue!

Hopefully a successor to the "Super Mario" nickname from Mr. Manningham... thanks for the post!
Where does he project to play in our defense? Also, are there any opinions on when he might see the field? I know there is the "hello" post to look at, but I'm wondering if anything has changed seeing the recruiting season develope a bit more.
Everyone assumed he'd have to grow into a WDE role, but with the departure of Kellen Jones, now everyone's wondering whether it free's up a spot at WLB for him, where he seems to perform better.
