Manziel Signs with CFL's Tiger-Cats

Say what you want about the guy but I hope to see him turn his life around.  Unfortunaltely, I don't think this is going to work out for him.  I heard him on The Dan Patrick Show recently and he said something like 'the Browns should have done their homework and known what they were drafting'.  He backtracked a bit after Patrick asked him to clairify but I think it was a peek into how he really feels.

Johnny Manziel's comeback tour continues as he announced he's signed with the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats. https://t.co/ATguEofzxy pic.twitter.com/Z3jDS8CE63

Is the inescapable thought that he might not be mentally ill or an addict, just an incurable jerk. Regardless of which one is accurate, this has about a .01% chance of success.

and keep expectations low, in this case. People love a redemption story, but Manziel is going to have to fundamentally change who he is, and that’s pretty unusual. Long before any of his antics made the news, he was infamous in central Texas for his childish temper, entitled attitude, and boorish behavior. And the Apple apparently doesn’t fall from the tree, as his many of his relatives have exhibited similar behavior. He probably thinks that he’s normal, and everyone else is strange. His comment about the Browns having a problem with his drinking suggests this. He might just be an irredeemable jerk. The good news, for him, is that that doesn’t appear to be a big inhibitor to success or popularity.

They like their alcohol up in Canada and so does he. He's going to have employ that will power like never before.

that's on my browsing history now. Sure, I can erase the history, but before I've even had time to post this, Google has probably sold to 100 different 3rd parties and I'll be getting banner ads for all sorts of greater Hamilton adult entertainment.

True story, while in Canada playing in the CANUSA games, we went to a Tiger-Cats game. My seat number was selected and I was the winner of a pair of Reebok pumps.
