Mallet puts a stop to the speculation
Mallet said, "I would have loved to come here out of high school, but the situation wasn't right
and so I thought I made a good decision," Mallett said. "After a year, things changed around there
and I decided it was best to leave."

Nothing like a QB who is afraid of competition....
Almost every QB takes the current QB situation of a team they are looking at into account. You're naive if you don't think there are players on Michigan who came here because they wanted easy playing time right away.
Who would've ever guessed that Tater would be the one to throw the stale, cliched "too afraid of competition" bullshit out there to degrade a kid.
Shocker.
TATER!

Yep. Rumor has it new head coach Les Miles ran him off. Too bad. He could have put up some great numbers throwing to AA and MM....
Looks to me like Lloyd is telling him "Wow Ryan, you have a nice wenis" LOL
"When coach Carr left, I was kind of upset. He was like another father figure, and I knew he wasn't going to be there, and I wasn't recruited by the other guy out of high school," Mallett said. "I didn't think that it was best for me to stay there."
Wait! You mean he really wasn't run off by Rich Rod?
