You should probably try to be more subtle with your questions; don't blatantly ask for premium information. Try becoming a Scout Premium member for awhile; you might enjoy the info.

But ugh, Patty, save it. Sure, paying for premium is frivolous. As is following a blog. And posting on a blog. Kicking $10/month (I'm assuming we can all find $10 we waste on frivolous shit a month) to get premium info might seem wasteful - fine, but it seems weird to on one hand suggest that paying for premium is a frivolous, wasteful thing to do, and on the other hand endorse asking for those frivolous types to throw out the info for free. Personally, I think the premium sites are pretty lame. I just tire of reading posts asking for the information, and then justifying asking for the information for free by suggesting that the information is sort of worthless. Then don't ask. (this isn't to the original poster). To the OP - definitely try recruitingplanet. It's free, and they get a lot of decent info. Or, honestly, just wait like, one day, and VB and Brian will have plenty of recruiting information for you. People that pay premium decide it's worth it to know instantaneously... people that don't will find out with about a 48 hour lag. Hardly that big of a deal.

Well it's one thing to ask "Is Latwan Anderson visiting UM" and then "Is Latwan Anderson visiting; but it's premimum info so can someone tell me?" Not trying to be a dick, but a simple rewording can go a long ways. Just trying to maintain the same principles that Brian does (no stealing from premium sites).

I have to say, I've been reading posts on this site since I moved to Ann Arbor in August and you people who try to be holier than thou piss me off. Fist off, if a person asks a football question, answer them. Don't tell them where they went wrong in life. Second, don't say "Brian says this" or "you shouldn't do this cuz Brian wouldn't do this". You sound like you're 12 years old thathas a man crush. Let Brian police this site, if he has a problem, he can do something about it. And third, I'm going to go on a limb and say the majority of the people who complain about people asking for premium info are hypocrites. Don't say anything if you've ever downloaded music, movies, or software, used somebodies internet that wasn't secure, or any number of things that happen everyday in the real world. This is a site for U of M sports, not for giving other people shit. And another thing, I've been reading a lot of jerks telling people off about the title to their posts. I can go through all the posts in a matter of minutes. If time is really a problem, stop getting on at work when you shouldn't be anyway, or get faster internet.

These people that lecture about the premium content remind me of those scolds that stand outside waiting for a kid to accidentally fall onto their lawn. Either answer the question or simply don't. Its perfectly legitimate to ask, just as its legitimate (I suppose) to guard the insider info you've paid for by not answering. But don't then lecture everyone like a record company executive telling people not to lend their cd's to a friend.

I think it is a little bit ridiculous for somebody to sit there and brag that they have rivals access and somebody else does not. It is not like you are driving a Ferari and you are driving by those lowly peasants who should not be allowed to breathe the same air that you do. It is a $10 per month subscription for crying out loud. The guy asked a question. If you don't want to answer it then don't.

I talked to him a couple weeks ago, and he seems pretty excited about Michigan. He's not visiting yet, but he's trying to figure that out.

why are we fighting about premium info? WE HAVE THE BEST INFO IN HOUSE! just direct your question towards tomvh, nothing un-kosher about that and you're likely to get a more informed response than you'd pay ten bucks for.
