Kelvin Grady Catch - The Play of the Day on MGoBlue.com

Submitted by wingedsig on
The latest installment up on the Multimedia site of mgoblue.com is a video of the "Play of the Day." It would be nice to see this become a regular segment on top of the Countdown to Kickoff. Today is Kelvin Grady, (that's right, the former basketball player) making a very nice 1-handed grab. The CB on the play was Vlad who got juked out of his shoes but recovered well to be there when Grady caught the ball. Hopefully Grady can become a viable option at WR. Any word on how he is performing in practice? I haven't heard much else about him lately. Here's the link: http://mgoblue.com/multimedia/multimediacenter.aspx

this is his second full day of practice with the team. I would take anything we hear with a grain of salt until he gets the pads on, which he hasn't done in two years. With that being said, that was a nice catch and there certainly is an opportunity for him at slot or kick/punt return to contribute.

are two totally different position. There is a reason why S aren't asked to cover WR one on one during games. With that being said, it was a nice move and catch by Kelvin Grady. His quickness will help him out on the field since he'll be one of the quicker player on the roster. Remember that he was two time(correct me if I'm wrong) all state as a RB for EGR.

Is he gonna quit when he doesn't get PT in football too? I am still a bit puzzled about quiting basketball over PT when you are seeing time and come back to a team that just lost two PGs.

It downloads so slow - I get it in like 1 second increments separated between like 30 secs. Does anyone else have that problem, or is it my internet connection?

It is a nice catch, but I doubt he plays. He should RS and then maybe he can contribute in a minor role next year

I was skeptical.....but he looks quick and moves out of his break like a good WR would. As far as him leaving the BB team, understand that he is a little guy by BB standards and his athletic future most likely is more bright on the FB field.
