Just out of curiosity.....Justin Turner has stated that His favorite player is Charles Woodson. This being said and with the transfer of Sam-I am McGuffie I would think that Turner has his sights on Woodson's ol #2 jersey!
It would be nice to see the 2 again making plays in the Defensive Backfield!

Currently uber-svelte long-snapper George Morales is wearing the #73 that Will always wears... something tells me Falk will be ordering a super-fat shirt for Morales with a 66 or 76 this spring.
Also noticed that that Brandon Moore and Andre Criswell are currently wearing Roh's #88... looks like the freshman's gonna have to change.
As for the #2... Forcier? Only other QB numbers available next year are Stewart's 5 and Trent's 14. OR a number he could share with a DB: Warren's 6 or Zach Johnson's 19.

He could also share # 8 his HS number. Again as long as him and Sheridan aren't on the field together it is okay. This happened a few years ago when both Henne #7 and that transfer QB from San Diego State both wore #7.

I've never seen a team with THREE guys who have the same number. The #8 is already shared by Sheridan and Mouton.

They above examples should not be an issue! Ever since RR came aboard guys (offense/defense) are able to wear the same number. It is legal as long as they aren't on the field at the same time. Think S.Brown/Feagin, Evans/Odoms, among others...

So if Tate takes #8 that will eliminate any hope of seeing the Tate Forcier/Nick Sheridan uber formation. That is what I was looking forward to most next season.
