Before I clicked on this, I said to myself "Oh, Jay has a post with a player's name as the Subject Title. What are the chances of him suggesting said player is gone? 175%? 372%?" I settled on eleventy-billion percent.

he was gone, though. It looks like he has decided to take a visit to Alabama. I believe they were his second choice when he originally committed to us.

Perhaps we all should start a fund for Jay so he can buy membership to Scout and/or Rivals so he won't have to hope that someone with premium membership will tell him pay-only information. Yep, that should do the trick.

a soft verbal with plans (hopes?) to visit Alabama according to the Rivals board. Not a big deal IMO. We've got enough 3* LBs and safeties that will bulk up and move to LB in this coming class.

there is some talk going around about this. Last I had spoken with Jordan he was fine, but that was about a week ago. For these kids, it seems, that's more like a year, so things could have changed. I'll talk to him tonight, and see what he's saying.

I feel like we are all editors (lazy ones, mind you) of some recruiting mag, and we have a single reporter to do all the work. TomVH. Love this guy. Someone posts a basic, rather meaningless, question about a recruit that most of us could not pick out of a lineup. And, Tom steps in a says he'll make a few calls. Keep up the good work Tom, you're keeping us more informed.

The fact that we are still recruiting LB's makes me think that the coaches either knew this was coming, or saw him as a second option any way.
